Time Machine

June 1, 2009Productsadmin

Ever wonder what would happen if your computer suddenly crashed?

How do you get your files back? Is it even possible?

If you own an Apple computer and an external hard drive, these are questions that you will never have to worry about.  It’s as simple as hooking up an external hard drive and flipping a switch.  Time Machine automatically saves a backup of everything on your computer.  Any time you make even the slightest change to a document or file Time Machine will know.  That way if you need to go back to a document you created last Thursday (because you don’t like the changes you’ve made) you certainly can.

Time Machine is built into every Apple computer.
You can use it with any compatible Apple hard drive, or seamlessly with Time Capsule – Apple’s hard drive with Wi-Fi built in, which allows you to back up multiple computers to one hard drive with no cables! (Optionally you can connect each computer with ethernet)
Time Capsule is available in either 500GB ($299) or 1TB ($499)

Check out this video to see just how easy it is to use Time Machine!
